Luxembourg, January 2018 – M7 Group SA, the leading Pan-European satellite Pay TV operator controlled by French Private Equity firm Astorg, the parent company of DTH satellite platform HD Austria, has commenced supplying the customers of public utility company Stadtwerke Judenburg with cable TV services.
With the regional network operator based in Styria, five of the six large cable operators in Austria rely on TV wholesale products from M7, according to the service provider.
Stadtwerke Judenburg which operate a cable network serving around 12,000 households in the Murtal district are provided by M7 with services including HD channels and the multiscreen app which takes cable TV channels to smartphones and tablets.
The offers are marketed to consumers by the network operator as a white label solution under its own brand.
