CANAL+ GROUP RENEWS PREMIER LEAGUE RIGHTS UNTIL 2028 IN FRANCE, SWITZERLAND, CZECH REPUBLIC, SLOVAKIA, AND VIETNAM

The Premier League, more than ever the most competitive national championship in the world, will remain on CANAL+ for 5 additional seasons.
Haaland, Salah, De Bruyne, Saka, Son, Rashford, Bernardo Silva, Jesus, Ødegaard, Sterling, Alexander-Arnold, Varane, Nkunku, Konaté... The most popular, most iconic national championship, with its stars, legendary clubs and action-packed derbies. Winner of the first UEFA Champions League in its history in 2022/2023 after a magnificent season in which it also won the Premier League and FA Cup, Manchester City had to defend its national title against fierce competition in recent seasons from teams such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham, but also facing the rise of Newcastle and return of historic clubs as Manchester United and Arsenal.
CANAL+ is proud to have renewed the rights to the entire English championship, i.e. 380 matches per season. In France, all these matches can be followed exclusively on the CANAL+ channels as well as on myCANAL, and in particular the digital channel CANAL+ PREMIER LEAGUE.
This renewal concerns France as well as Switzerland (French language only), Czech Republic, Slovakia and Vietnam on an exclusive basis, key regions for the Group where the Premier League is a leading competition.
